February 2025: Our edited volume on Semantics at the Crossroads: From theoretical explorations to implementations will appear at PubliKon, Konstanz, Germany.
July 2023: Our paper When Truth Matters – Addressing Pragmatic Categories in Natural Language Inference (NLI) by Large Language Models (LLMs) has been accepted at the 12th Joint Conference on Lexical and Computational Semantics (*SEM 2023), taking place 13-14 July.
May 2023: I am taking on a new challenge outside the academic world: I am starting at the Bundesdruckerei Gruppe as an NLP Specialist.
April 2023: Our special issue on Natural Logic Meets Machine Learning. Selected Papers from the First Three Workshops of NALOMA. will appear in the Journal of Language, Logic and Information.
March 2023: I am more than happy to be the co-awardee of the 2023 Wilhelm von Humboldt Award of the German Linguistics Association (DGfS - Deutsche Gesellschaft für Sprachwissenschaft) for my PhD dissertation.
September 2022: Our paper Curing the SICK and other NLI maladies has been accepted in the Journal of Computational Linguistics 2022 and will also be presented at ACL 2023.
August 2022: Our paper Negation, Coordination, and Quantifiers in Contextualized Language Models has been accepted at the 29th International Conference on Computational Linguistics (COLING), taking place 12-17 October.
March 2022: Our paper LMFingerprints: Visual Explanations of Language Model Embedding Spaces through Layerwise Contextualization Scores has been accepted at the Eurographics Conference on Visualization (EuroVis), taking place 13-17 June.
February 2022: I am more than happy to be among the awardees of the Prize of the City of Konstanz for the Promotion of Young researchers (Preis der Stadt Konstanz zur Förderung des Wissenschaftlichen Nachwuchses an der Universität Konstanz).
February 2022: Our paper Of Seringueiros and Sambistas: Occupation Mappings in Historical Text has been accepted at the Second Workshop on Digital Humanities and Natural Language Processing (DHandNLP @PROPOR 2022), taking place on the 21st of March.
November 2021: Our paper Annotation Difficulties in Natural Language Inference has been accepted at the 13th Brazilian Symposium in Information and Human Language Technology, taking place 29 November - 3 December.
August 2021: I am more than happy to be starting as an Akademische Rätin (≈ assistant professor - postdoc researcher) at the CIS of the LMU Munich and a member of Hinrich Schütze's team. I am looking forward to working together with an excellent team of NLPers.
July 2021: Our book chapter Collectivist Semantics has been published as part of Modular Design of Grammar: Linguistics on the Edge (ed. I Wayan Arka, Ash Asudeh, and Tracy Holloway King).
May 2021: Our paper Visual Analytics for Explaining Contextualization in Language Models has been accepted at ACL 2021, taking place 2-4 August.
April 2021: Our paper Is that really a question? Going beyond factoid questions in NLP has been accepted at IWCS 2021, taking place 16-18 June.
June 2021: Our proposed Second Natural Logic Meets Machine Learning (NALOMA) workshop has been accepted at IWCS 2021, taking place 16-18 June.
